Job Summary and Qualifications Ultrasound TechnologistSchedule: 11a-1130p on Friday/Saturday/SundayLocations: This full-time opportunity will support our free-standing ER locations in Lakeland (open/operating now) and North Lakeland (opening in December)Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate Qualifications:
  • General Ultrasound experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers
  • Current Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required
  • Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400-bed acute-care hospital in Brandon, FL.
