Performs the primary function of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients. The Nurse Manager – Sun City location manages approximately 30 personnel, as well as the clinical activities and operations of the Sun City nursing care location. Provides leadership and guidance to staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management and outcome achievement. Strives to improve the skills of others by providing clear performance feedback and coaching. Demonstrates an understanding of regulations applicable to patient care and regularly reviews, develops, implements, and ensures regulatory compliance with policies and procedures. Job Information:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of current ED experience
• Candidate must have 5 yeras of experience in nursing specialty

  • Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN completion within 2-years of hire
  • Masters degree, preferred
  • Current RN licensure in Florida
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association
  • Current ACLS through American Heart Association
  • Current PALS through American Heart Association
  • Current TNCC Certification
  • Current NIH Stroke Certification
